berhan
Coffee came from us. Now the premium does too.
Coffee was born in the Ethiopian highlands, long before the world had a name for it. It left home cheap and came back as everyone else’s brand. Berhan brings it back into the light — grown where it began, roasted by its own, poured for our people first.
Be first to the first roast →We gave the world coffee.
Let’s keep the premium.
For generations our beans left home cheap and came back as everyone else’s name, everyone else’s price. Berhan keeps the whole of it — the roast, the ritual, the margin. The people a thing came from should keep its light. Berhan means exactly that.
Berhan Blend
Our everyday cup — a blend from the Sidama and Guji highlands, roasted small in the States so it reaches you close to the pan. The one we brew at the ceremony, and carry into our own shops first.

The First Bite
In every Habesha home the coffee is roasted by hand, and a few beans always go black on the pan. As kids we stole one and bit it — bitter, smoke, alive. The first taste of coffee any of us ever had. So before your first cup, we hand you that bean.
“Bite this first. That’s where it starts. Now taste where we take it.”
Three rounds. No rush.
The world drinks coffee to save time. Where it was born, we drink it to spend it — roasted in the room, poured three times, shared.
First roast, first pour.
The first batch is small, and this list drinks before anyone else. Leave your email. When the roaster’s warm, yours is the first cup we pour.
